Data Migration Consultant - Sopra Steria

As a Data Migration Consultant you will help our clients with their digital transformation. In this way, you will make an impact and your role is to build a data migration. From that role you ensure that the data from the source systems is converted to fit the target system. Furthermore, you develop the selections, conversion rules, controls and everything needed to move the data. In addition, you ensure that the data migration is complete and correct, and that our client can successfully deploy the new system filled with data.

You’ll have knowledge and experience of the following: 

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Data or Software Engineer; 
  • You have an affinity for data, data structures and data mapping; 
  • You have knowledge and experience with data modeling and relational algebra; 
  • You have knowledge and experience with SQL and preferably with Microsoft SQL Server; 
  • You work accurately and precisely; 
  • You have analytical thinking, communication skills and a practical attitude; 
  • Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as C# (Microsoft .Net) is an advantage. 
  • You are proficient in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
