Data Engineer with strong focus on migration - Visser & Van Baars

A growing international group is looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong data migration expertise. You'll play a key role in the migration of data from legacy systems to a new ERP environment, working closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end data migration process, from design to execution
• Build and implement high-quality migration solutions
• Design and develop ETL flows (extraction, transformation, validation, loading)
• Translate business needs into technical data migration requirements
• Work in close collaboration with project stakeholders and technical teams
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders across 20+ entities

• Collaborate with a senior expert on the project

   

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in data migrations,...
• Strong expertise in:
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Databricks
  • Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with data migration in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O environments is a strong asset
• Solid knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and SQL
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and in close collaboration with others
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding project environment
• Excellent communication skills - capable of translating technical detail into business language

Language Requirements

• Fluent English is a must

• Dutch is not required but a useful skill
