Life on the team

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver scalable solutions. You will be part of the team that is responsible for all infrastructure across our client’s (e-connectivity team).

The role involves managing and overseeing various projects within the IT department at our client. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its lifecycle. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen understanding of project management methodologies, and the ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

 

What you'll do

 

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Resource Management: Manage project resources, budget, and time, to ensure project success. Allocate resources effectively and efficiently to achieve project goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management, to ensure project alignment and transparency. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Organize regular follow-up and steering committee meetings (CAB) to align and communicate on the progression of scope and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
    Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Project Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve project objectives.

 

What you'll need

 

  • Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • 5 years or more of experience as Project Manager in Infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in successful KPI definition.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • ITIL certification required, and Prince, PMI or any project certification is an asset.
  • Eager to learn and solution-driven mindset.
  • Autonomous, dynamic and well organized.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing IT systems within the pharmaceutical, industrial sectors or similar industries (banking, agro-tech...).
  • Work model: Hybrid, half time at Braine L’alleud site.
  • Fluent in French and English.
